Top 5 National Parks In Turkey

1) Uludağ National Park, the peak with a height of 2543 meters is the highest point of West Anatolia. The landscpate is covered with forests. Its famous with its ski centers as well as the unique natural beauty. Located : Bursa, Western Anatolia.



2) Yedigöller National Park, the park is the best known for the lakes formed by landslides, the rich plant life which a huge coverage to the area. The structure of the land, which has tendencies to subside, is the main factor in the lake's formation. 




3) Saklıkent Valley National Park, is a river canyon located in Fethiye, southern Turkey.  In 1992 the Saklıkent Canyon was declared as a National Park. 




4) Bolu Abant Lake, The main species are Scotch pine,  larch, oak, poplar, ash,  willow, juniper, forest rose, hazelnut, holly, dog-rose, bracken, blackberry, strawberry, mint, raspberry, ivy, nettle, mare's tail, and a variety of pasture grasses and trees. Species of animals include pig, deer, roe deer, bear, fox, jackal, rabbit, plus birds of prey and singing birds. Located in Bolu, Northern Turkey.



5) Lake Bafa, The lake, once part of the Aegean Sea, became a lake as result of geomorphologic development of Büyük Menderes Delta and is in an area of relatively unspoilt beauty. Its main sources are from Büyük Menderes, and the underground rivers flowing from the surrounding mountains.
